CORY THE CLOWN

Cory Riback has performed as Cory the Clown for over twenty years for children and adults. As Cory the Clown, he joined the On Stage European Circus where he performed to thousands and worked with some of the best circus entertainers in the world. He appeared regularly at On Stage Cabaret working with mime and puppets and as Cory the Clown. He was the opening act for Gloria Gaynor at Madison Square Garden and toured the country, performing at county fairs, benefits, and off-broadway.

Cory the Clown has appeared in advertisements for Sony, Del Monte, and Panasonic. His many television commercials include spots for "Farmland Ham," "Icelandic Produce," "Pacific Bell," "Video Vault," and "Onstage Cabaret." His television work includes apearances in "In Living Color," "Haywire," and "The Great Space Coaster." Cory has appeared in many national commercials as himself and was featured recently in the films "Jimmy Hollywood" and "Nevada."

Cory the Clown's stage show is a wonderfully inspiring variety show with magic, juggling, slapstick humor, unicycling, puppets, marionettes, music, and audience participation. New York Newsday reviewed his performance and compared Cory's wit to the "impeccable timing of Jack Benny." After seeing Cory open for a magic show that had technical difficulties, making Cory perform for an additional forty five minutes without props, one reviewer stated, "He was unbelievable. He brought the house down with his antics and improv. The best I've ever seen!"

Cory's show has continued to stimulate and entertain. To date, Cory has performed over 8,000 shows, here in the United States and abroad. He is the entertainer's consummate entertainer. Recently, Dustin Hoffman remarked, "Cory is a very talented artist and he's my favorite clown!" When Bob Hope was celebrating his 90th birthday, Cory was called upon to be Bob's Official Birthday Clown. He also performed a magic show for Barbra Streisand's 50th birthday, and she loved it.

Cory has performed for premieres and telethons; L.A. Children's Museum, L.A. Parent Magazine, Gene Autry Museum, Marvin Davis' Carousel Ball, Michael Ovitz, Dustin Hoffman, Ann Archer, Danny DeVito and Rhea Pearlman, Barry Levinson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Club Med, Virgin Records, George Plimpton, The Royal Family of Saudi Arabia, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylor, Tavern on the Green, Xenon, Spago, Autopub, Hilton Hotels, Del Monte, Magic Mountain, Washington Apple Commission, Suffolk County Fair, Australian Fruit Counsel, Revlon, L.A. Zoo, Central Park, Lorimar, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., Gabriel Toys, 7-Up, Raging Waters, and Disney, to name a few.
